Purpose of Function :
• To navigate the growth of IKEA and steer the business towards sustained long term profitability by the IKEA business idea, culture and values, with a focus on sustainable profitability

Purpose of the Job :
• I lead and inspire my team to optimise safety and security in my store, for both customers and co-workers, using the the knowledge of our IKEA group Risk manual and local regulations. I use the IKEA tools and expertise of my team and my colleagues to support me.
Operations :
• I ensure that regular, preventive maintenence on all system related to fire pevention, fire extinguishing, CCTV alarms and other safety –related systems is completed and documented and that the systems are in good working condition.
• I also ensure that physical access and key management to the store is complient to the approved card access matrix and Group Risk Manual
• I am committed to prevent all types of accidents, crime and fraud in the stores and will rapidly carry out investigation if there are any such incidents. All investigated and reported inccidents to be escalated to relevant personal quickly and follow up actions are taken.
• I conduct reguler trainnings to increase awareness of safety and security in all co-workers and ensure that all IKEA co-workers are educated in safety routines such as fire drills and evacuation
• I take responsbilities to liaise with the local authorities and organisations as a representative of the Company when we needed (police, fire brigades, fraud investigators, etc). I participate actively in the stor’s Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Committee
• I am involved in the store’s crisis management team and ensure that the team is prepared and familiar with emergency procedures (fire hazard, bomb threat, gas leak, pandemic, etc)

Duties and Responsibilities
a. Perform general overview functions of LP Manager.

b. Ensure all the LP Managers are properly performing their duties and functions.

c. Develop appropriate training materials and follow up the LP Division’s educational development.

d. Ensure the safety and security of Very Important Persons (VIP’s), Directors and VIP Visitors.

e. Analyze reports such as the Inventory Report, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet for the Company interest.

f. Prepare Emergency Plans in case of disaster.

g. Supervise all aspects of the LP team including hiring and training of staff and contracts with third parties.

h. Conduct surprise spot checks of procedural compliance at other Business Units and their departments.

i. Plan and supervise the budget for LP Division.
